About Gig'le
What is Gig'le?
- Gig'le is the social network for India's creative community. Creatives share their work, find paid gigs and discover events, and organisers post gigs and host events to find the talent they need. It covers ten crafts, from music and dance to photography and culinary arts.
Who is Gig'le for?
- Creatives, and the people who book them. Creatives include musicians, dancers, comedians, actors, poets and writers, visual artists, photographers, filmmakers, and fashion and culinary talent. Organisers include venues, event hosts, brands and anyone hiring creative work.
Is Gig'le free?
- Yes, creating an account is free, and anyone can browse gigs and events without one. Posting gigs and hosting events are part of Gig'le's Organizer plan.
For creatives
How do I find paid gigs?
- Browse the Gigs board or the page for your craft, and filter by city. Each gig shows what is needed, the location, the experience level wanted and the pay, as written by the person who posted it.
How do I apply for a gig?
- Open the gig and press Apply while signed in. The person who posted it is notified straight away and can accept or decline your application.
How do I get noticed by organisers?
- Share your work. Photos and videos you post to your feed collect on your profile, and when you apply for a gig the organiser can look through them before deciding. Recent work that matches the gig helps most.
Can I see gigs and events without an account?
- Yes. Every gig and event on Gig'le can be read without signing in. You need an account to apply, share your work or host anything.
For organisers
How do I post a gig on Gig'le?
- Posting gigs is part of the Organizer plan. Describe the work, the craft, the location, the experience you need and the pay, then publish it to the Gigs board, where creatives can find it and apply.
How do I host an event?
- Hosting events is part of the Organizer plan too. List the event with its date, venue, description, performers and a link for tickets, and it appears on the Events board for people to discover.
How do I choose between applicants?
- Review who has applied, look at the work on their profiles, and accept or decline each application.
Pay and tickets
How does payment for a gig work?
- The pay is set by the person who posts the gig and shown on the listing. It is agreed and paid directly between the two of you; Gig'le doesn't hold or process gig payments. Agree the fee, what is included and when you will be paid in writing before the gig.
How do I get tickets for an event?
- Open the event and use its ticket link, which takes you to wherever the organiser sells tickets. Ticket prices and sales are handled by the organiser.
Trust and support
Is Gig'le safe to use?
- Gig'le's Community Guidelines set out how members must treat each other, from using your real identity to no harassment. As with any work arranged online, check the other person's profile, agree terms in writing and meet somewhere public the first time.
How do I raise a complaint?
- Follow Gig'le's Grievance Policy, which explains how to raise a concern, what to include and how it is handled.
